THE NAKED CHEF
Jamie Oliver not only is a fun guy, he's also a great chef. Want a proof? Get his books. The recipes are simple yet tasty and with these you're sure to impress your mates!

THE RETURN OF THE NAKED CHEF
What makes a great book? Easy recipes that WILL NOT GO WRONG! How many times have you tried a recipe which turned out totally different from the picture on the book? Well no longer! Jamie wrote some great recipes in this second book. A book well worth the money!

L'ARTE DI MANGIARE BENE
This is a classic of the Italian cousine literature. Written over a century ago it represents the first attempt at writing a recipe book for everyone, not just chefs. Some recipes appear way weird coming from so long ago but if you like Italian cousine, it's a BOOK TO HAVE!

LES HALLES COOKBOOK
Anthony Bourdain is famous for writing "Kitchen Confidential" an insight on his life as a chef (by the way an excellent book). But till this book we had no idea on how he wrote recipe books. This books contains all the classic he prepares at Les Halles (his hip joint in NY). French classics a bit on the heavy side maybe but sure tasty! We tried some and they were NO disappointment.

THE MEAT BOOK
Huge reference book on meat by Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall (famous for the River Cottage series). In this book you can find everything you want to know about beef. Maybe we'll use a hint or two from this book in the future for a mammasantissima special on meat. Stay tuned!

THE RIVER COOTAGE YEAR
Cooking should be about turning the best products into fantastic dishes. And best products are, by definition, seasonal. This book is a collection of recipes divided into monthly installments where only the season products are used to prepare the various treats. Great concept Hugh

GOOD HOUSEKEEPING COOKERY BOOK
Classic of the British tradition. It was given to Andrea (member of our mammasantissima clan) by his good good friend William. All the recipes which have been tasted were amazing. If you only decide to have one cook book THIS HAS TO BE THE ONE!!

WILLIAMS SONOMA "COOKIES"
We got this book in New York and it contains some classics of the splendid US tradition on cookie making. Forget about diets when trying these beautiful recipes, they certainly are not for the faint-hearted! ;)))

THE SUSHI COOKBOOK
Easy and simple insight in the amazing world of sushi. Step by steps recipes ensure minimum stress when trying to recreate the delicious raw fish on rice.

DONOSTI PINXTO A PINXTO
Fantastic book on donostia and the treats of the cocina vasca. The book describes three simple recipes for pinxto (you can call them "tapas" even if the proud people of San Sebastian will hate the term) prepared by every possible decent jont in San Sebastian. Great stuff

THE BOOK OF JEWISH FOOD
Did you know most great classic dishes of the Venetian and Roman cousines came from Jewish cousine? This book is an amazing insight in the story of the Jewish people and of the traditions they brought with them throught the centuries adapting local prodcuts to their need and creating some true masterpieces.

LA CUCINA BOLOGNESE
In Italy Bologna is considered the town of possibly the greatest food lovers. The town is often referred to as "Bologna la grassa" (Bologna the fat) and, judging from this cookbook the name is well deserved. Pork is the absolute king of this town and his book provides you with superb porky classic dishes to choose from. A powerful tool!
